Accessibility

Our aim

We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings. We are working toward conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have not commissioned a formal third-party audit, so we describe this as a goal we are actively building to rather than a certification.

What is built in

This site was built with the following, and each was tested:

• Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator
• A skip-to-content link is the first item in the tab order
• The mobile menu traps focus while open, closes on Escape, and returns focus to the button that opened it
• Form fields have real labels, errors are announced, and the first invalid field receives focus on submit
• Text colours were checked against their backgrounds for contrast; colours that failed were changed
• Setting "reduce motion" in your operating system stops all animation — no content is hidden behind an animation that never plays
• The site works with JavaScript disabled: nothing is hidden that scripting is required to reveal
• Headings follow a correct hierarchy and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology

Known limitations

The hovering preview in the services section is a visual enhancement only. It conveys no information that is not already in the text beside it, and it is not reachable by keyboard by design, so that it does not add empty stops to the tab order.

We have not yet tested with every combination of screen reader and browser.
